CFIA 2025: Italvibras France at Rennes fair, focus on innovation, sustainability and food safety. Visit us at stand 5-F42!

Italvibras France is pleased to announce its participation in the 2025 edition of EXPO CFIA, which will be held from March 4th to 6th, 2025 at the Rennes Exhibition Centre, in the heart of Brittany. This event, now in its 28th edition, is a leading international event for the agri-food industry, representing a strategic meeting point for exhibitors and professionals in the sector.

CENTRAL THEME: FACTORIES WITH LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The official theme of the 2025 edition, “Factories with low environmental impact”, reflects the event’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices and innovative technologies.

Among the main initiatives of CFIA 2025 is the return of the UsineAgro du Futur(Agro Factory of the Future), an innovative project organised in collaboration with Bretagne Développement Innovation (BDI), Valorial and ABEA. This space, designed as a showcase of innovation, will occupy a 450 m² stand and will be dedicated to showcasing the most advanced technologies and the most promising solutions for the future of the agri-food industry.

The structure of the UsineAgro du Futur is designed to offer a complete experience, divided into three main areas:

  • Showroom: an interactive journey presenting innovative demonstrators and prototypes, designed to optimise production processes and reduce the environmental impact of industrial activities.
  • Village FoodTech: a space that brings together start-ups and innovative companies, highlighting emerging solutions and the most promising business models for the agri-food industry.
  • Innovation Hub: a meeting point to explore emerging technologies and share knowledge, where experts and professionals in the sector can discuss the trends that will guide the future of the industry.

NEW SECTION DEDICATED TO FOOD SAFETY
Among the main new features this year, CFIA introduces a new pavilion dedicated to food safety, a fundamental issue addressing the current and future challenges of the agri-food industry. Food safety is a crucial pillar not only for the industry but also for the global economy, with a clear mission: to guarantee the safety of food products. According to CFIA data, in 2024, 35% of visitors showed an interest in food safety, highlighting the relevance of this topic. The issues related to food safety are numerous and complex, and include:

  • Reducing the costs associated with product recalls.
  • Managing product quality.
  • Strengthening the company’s image, demonstrating a commitment to high standards.
  • Adapting to new emerging technologies.
  • Complying with increasingly stringent health regulations. This new sector not only responds to current challenges but also looks to the future, showing how innovation and food safety are closely linked.

BIG NEWS: A SPACE DEDICATED TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Another major new feature of the 2025 edition is an exhibition space dedicated to artificial intelligence, in line with the theme: “The agri-food industry is reinventing itself to improve performance and find new sources of added value”. This space will be a unique opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can be applied to the agri-food sector to:

  • Reduce waste by optimising the use of resources.
  • Improve production processes, increasing efficiency and quality control.
  • Identify new business opportunities through advanced data analysis.

With the participation of experts and leading companies, this thematic area will offer exclusive insights and concrete applications.
